Agreement

Tonify is made by Yaysoft LTD. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which governs your licence to use the app. If the two differ, Apple's agreement prevails.

What Tonify does

Tonify converts the videos and audio files you choose into audio files and ringtones, on your iPhone. Your files are not uploaded to us.

Your content

You are responsible for the files you convert and the links you import. Use Tonify only with content you own or have permission to use. Do not use it to copy or distribute material in breach of copyright or of another service's terms. Tonify refuses links from streaming and social services such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.

Free use and Tonify Pro

Your first conversion is free. Tonify Pro unlocks unlimited conversions and ringtones and is offered as a weekly or yearly subscription — the yearly plan may include a free trial — or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The current price for your country is shown on the purchase screen before you pay.

Payment and renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. A free trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends; any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Manage or cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Open-source components

Tonify uses LAME and FFmpeg under the GNU LGPL. Their licences apply to those components and allow you to replace them with your own builds; source and build scripts: https://github.com/yaysoft-ltd/swiftlame.

Changes to the app

We may update, change or discontinue features. If a paid feature you rely on is removed, contact us.

No warranty

Tonify is provided “as is”. We work hard to produce correct files, but we cannot guarantee every file will convert. Keep your originals.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Yaysoft LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
